Industry Experts Join Airframe Team

San Mateo, CA – May 18, 2004 – Airframe Business Software, Inc., the premier provider of immediate-use “software-as-a-service” business applications, today announced the addition of two product management and software development experts. The new executives, with nearly 30 years of business software experience between them, will be tasked with delivering web-hosted applications focused on mid-sized businesses. Olivier Delerm joins the team as VP of Product Marketing and will take charge of Airframe’s product strategy, building upon an impressive product line that already offers more than a dozen department-specific applications. Mr. Delerm will also be responsible for Airframe’s market segmentation strategy, pricing and packaging, and other marketing programs. Alexander Balva joins as VP of Product Development and contributes his engineering and project management expertise to advancing Airframe’s Net-Native platform and applications as they mature.

Mr. Delerm joins Airframe Business Software from Siebel Systems, where he held numerous senior management positions over the past six years. At Siebel, Delerm was responsible for launching several major product lines that played a key role in establishing the company as leader in eBusiness applications, including the Field Service, Order Management and Web Service product lines. In Delerm’s most recent role at Siebel Systems, he served as Group Director for the Life Sciences and Consumer Goods product lines, a complete suite of vertical eBusiness applications that generated a record-setting $215M in revenues in 2003.

“During my first glance at the Airframe family of applications, I was very impressed by the quality of the work the Airframe team has done. I know first-hand how challenging it is to build rich, yet easy-to-use business applications,” said Olivier Delerm, Airframe Business Software’s newly appointed VP of Product Marketing. “This is a company with a very impressive offering and a dedicated team of talents focused on addressing the needs of mid-sized businesses. I am excited to join Airframe, and to work with our customers and partners to make it a solution that finds its place on every employee’s desk.”

Until recently, Mr. Balva served as Chief Software Architect for Exigen Group, where he led the delivery of a massive automation and cost reduction solution for Electronic Data Systems (EDS). Prior to joining Exigen, Balva was in charge of business applications for Genesys Telecommunication Laboratories, where he built and deployed over 15 applications–the entire automation suite for the company, partners and customers.

“The timing could not be better for Airframe to bring to mid-sized companies business applications that, historically, have only been the privilege of larger organizations,” said Alexander Balva, Airframe Business Software’s new VP of Product Development. “With Airframe’s Net-Native model, small and medium businesses can be up and running in days with zero deployment cost, zero implementation risk, and very limited training. I am excited to join the team that will offer to every company, regardless of size, the software to improve almost any aspect of their organizations.“

By giving companies the power to easily integrate and aggregate mission-critical information, Airframe enables them to focus their energy on developing their core business. Airframe Express, Airframe’s immediate-use product for small to mid-sized businesses, supports the customer’s choice of critical department functions like Human Resources, Help Desk, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Facilities and Asset Management, Feature & Defect Tracking, Training, and Shipping & Receiving. The strength of Airframe Express is the flexibility of its applications that help focus resources in specific departments as well as unify critical business functions via a single, clear and easy-to-use format.

“Airframe is committed to hiring only the best in the business to deepen and expand our product line,” said Robert Gryphon, Chairman and CEO of Airframe Business Software. “Olivier and Alexander bring extensive experience to our team, and their records of success speak for themselves. We have great confidence in these two real professionals, and look to both to hone our products and continue assisting our customers in improving their business systems and gaining immediate ROI from our applications.”
